MDCAT — Medical & Dental College Admission Test
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) is the single national entry test for MBBS and BDS admission in Pakistan, conducted under the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). Every public and private medical and dental college in the country uses it, so your MDCAT score decides half of your admission merit. The paper has 180 multiple-choice questions in 3 hours — Biology 81, Chemistry 45, Physics 36, English 9 and Logical Reasoning 9 — with one mark per correct answer and no negative marking. The pass mark is 55% for medical colleges and 50% for dental colleges. This page gives you solved MCQs from every subject, past-paper style practice, and a clear preparation plan, all organised by subject so you can start with your weakest area first. Work through the Biology section first — it carries 45% of the paper — then Chemistry and Physics, and finish with English and Logical Reasoning.

2. Solved MCQs by Subject
MDCAT Practice Questions — Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English — 10 solved practice questions with answers and explanations.
Practice MCQs in the style of the MDCAT paper, from the official syllabus topics — these are practice questions, not real past-paper questions. Work through them by subject:
- Biology — 81 MCQs, 45% of the paper. Start here.
- Chemistry — 45 MCQs, 25% of the paper.
- Physics — 36 MCQs, 20% of the paper.
- English — 9 MCQs, 5% of the paper.

3. Past Papers & Practice Sets
Past-paper style practice is the best way to prepare for MDCAT. Work through the solved MCQs on this page by subject, then practise full 180-question sets under the real 3-hour time limit. Time yourself: about one minute per question, and do not leave questions blank — there is no negative marking, so attempt every question. Review every wrong answer and note the topic it came from, so your revision targets your weak areas.
4. Preparation Plan (8 Weeks)
- Weeks 1–2: Biology. The biggest section (45%). Cover cell biology, human physiology, genetics, evolution and ecology from your FSc textbooks.
- Weeks 3–4: Chemistry. Physical, organic and inorganic chemistry — practise numericals daily.
- Weeks 5–6: Physics. Mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves and modern physics — practise numericals with the formula sheet.
- Week 7: English & Logical Reasoning. Vocabulary, grammar and comprehension, plus logical reasoning practice sets.
- Week 8: Full mock tests. Sit at least three full 180-question papers in 3 hours each, then revise only your weak topics.
